SVoD platforms have established a lasting presence in the audiovisual landscape. The SVoD consumption barometer allows various market players to have indicators on daily consumption of SVoD in France: top-performing programmes, consumption volume, share of different platforms, consumer profile, favourite screen, etc..

This barometer deciphers the offer and consumption of this content as closely as possible and analyses market trends.

The SVoD consumption barometer allows you to :

  • Know the daily consumption of content by platform, genre, target group, screen
  • Analyse content in its context of an offer: the power and attractiveness of platforms, competitive performance
  • Identify daily changes, as well as weekly and monthly developments, thanks to the major volume indicators: number and % of SVoD users, profiles, penetration, listening time, viewing time, number of content viewed
 

The SVoD consumption barometer is produced in partnership with Harris Interactive via its dedicated Quali TV online panel, allowing for the daily questioning of more than 2,000 TV viewers aged 15 years and over.

The following results are available each day and by age group :

  • Top-performing programmes
  • Number of content viewed
  • Listening time and viewing time
  • Number and % of SVoD users

Weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on many other indicators (offer and consumption, focus by platform, operator, genre, nationality or production company, uses by screen, etc.).

Scope of the study :

  • Mainland France, all locations - 15 years and over
  • All SVoD platforms representative of the offer in Francee
